Prospera Social Workers (PSW) is a youth-driven, non-profit organization committed to building inclusive, empowered, and resilient communities. Rooted in Afrocentric values and guided by principles of social work, we focus on psychosocial support, education, community development, and advocacy. Operating across the Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal, PSW champions human dignity, collaboration, and sustainable impact through innovative programs and human-centered partnerships. At PSW, we believe in success despite complexities—and we work every day to ensure no one is left behind.

Xola Quvile
Founder and President
He holds a Bachelor of Social Work, and a Master of Education degree (Research). His area of specialization are on community engagement, Action Research and Child and Youth development. His school of thought is centred on the transformative paradigm characterised by social justice and inclusion.




Celisile Cibane
Stakeholder relations
a Child and Youth Care graduate from Durban University of Technology, Director and a Co-Founder of Prospera Social Workers. She strives to make a huge impact in the lives of young people, families, and communities through her skills. The role is to engage with stakeholders, ensuring positive and effective relationships between Prospera Social Workers and it stakeholders.


Bophelo Khauoe
Executive Director
a purpose-driven Social Work graduate from Nelson Mandela University, passionate about youth empowerment, mental wellness, and community upliftment. With a heart for people and a mind for change, she brings a bold, compassionate voice to the field. Grounded in the principles of social justice and inclusion, she’s on a mission to help others rise, one meaningful connection at a time.
Ntombifuthi Ayanda Zwane
Secretary General
a co-founder and a dedicated Secretary General of Prospera Social Workers and a Nelson Mandela University Social Work graduate. With a strong passion for community development and social welfare, she champions initiatives that foster growth, empowerment, and inclusivity. Through her role, Ntombifuthi drives efforts to create positive impact and support individuals in need, envisioning a future where vulnerable populations thrive through their collective efforts and her support.


Mihlali Ketshane
Head of Department and Programmes
the co-founder and director of Prospera Social Workers, where she currently leads as Head of Department and Programmes. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Nelson Mandela University and is pursuing a Master of Social Science in Criminal Justice Social Work at the University of Cape Town. Passionate about social justice, her work focuses on restorative justice, community development, and transforming the criminal justice system through a social work lens.
